The Editors


Emma Timpany is an award-winning writer. Her publications include the short story pamphlet Over the Dam (Red Squirrel Press, 2015) and The Lost of Syros (Cultured Llama Press, 2015), a collection of sixteen short stories. Her short stories have won the Sara Park Memorial Short Story Competition 2013, the Society of Authors’ Tom-Gallon Trust Award 2011 and the Society of Women Writers and Journalists’ Theodora Roscoe/Vera Brittain Award 2011 and have been published in literary journals in England, New Zealand and Australia. Her most recent short story collection, Three Roads, will be published by Red Squirrel Press in 2018.

Felicity Notley studied on UEA's MA in Creative Writing Prose Fiction last year, for which she was awarded the Seth Donaldson Memorial Trust Bursary. She started to write several years ago while working at an independent bookshop in Cornwall. Her published work includes poetry, short stories and a contribution to Audiotor: Minions Lament, an immersive storytelling experience on Bodmin Moor (June 2014). Felicity has won and been placed in a number of literary awards, including the Bridport Prize 2015the Literature Works First Page Prize 2014, the Mslexia Novel Competition 2013 and the Barrington Green Short Story Prize 2011.
